Cancellation Policy
At Waves Of Lux, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure we can continue providing top-quality service and accommodate all of our clients effectively, we have implemented the following cancellation policy.
Standard Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations Made More Than 7 Days Prior:
Clients who cancel their service more than one week (7 days) prior to the scheduled service date will not incur any cancellation fees. A full refund will be provided.
- Cancellations Made Between 2 Days and 7 Days Prior:
Cancellations made between 2 days (48 hours) and 7 days before the scheduled service date will incur a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% of the booking total will be refunded or can be credited towards a future service.
- Cancellations Made Within 24 Hours:
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service date will result in the full charge for the service, with no refund or credit provided. Due to the short notice, we are unable to reallocate resources or reschedule for other clients.
High Season Policy
Costa Rica’s high season runs from
December through April, during which time services are in especially high demand. Please be advised that our cancellation policy is strictly enforced during this period:
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of scheduled services during high season will result in the full charge for the service, with no refund or credit provided.
We recommend booking and confirming your plans early to ensure availability and flexibility during these peak months.
Non-Refundable Deposits
For certain services, such as villa rentals, special events, or exclusive experiences, a
non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking. If applicable, you will be informed during the reservation process. Please note that this deposit will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.
Rescheduling Services
If you need to reschedule your service, please contact us at least
48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. Requests to reschedule made
within 24 hours of the scheduled service will be treated as a cancellation and will incur the full charge.
Force Majeure
In cases of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government-imposed restrictions, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services. If your service is affected by a force majeure event, we will offer a full refund or allow you to reschedule without penalty, based on availability.
